Today, we have tasted this great PAUILLAC GRAND CRU CLASSE. Amazing color between redbrown and mahogany, fruity flavors of redcurrant and cherry, subtle tannin, long finish and duration of flavors in mouth... The main cépages (grape variety) are Cabernet Sauvignon (53%) and Merlot (36%). This millésime (vintage), year 2004, has flagrant aroma, loud flavor, medium dry sweetness, crisp acidity, bold fruit, low oak and full body...
Here is the comment you can find on Pichon-Lalande web site : "A structured wine, chunky, solid and perfectly balanced. The purity and finesse of its tannins give it a texture that is rich, fleshy and silky."
Enjoy some of the photos I took from the stairs of my appartment in SOHO...
